This month we are looking forward to hosting Adam Moticak, Superintendent at the Bobby N. Setzer Hatchery (on Davidson River).
Adam will present an overview of the Setzer program, including hatchery operations and fish culture techniques utilized at the facility. Join us for an informative meeting about the Setzer Hatchery, how it grows fish for stocking, and how they make sure those fish cannot impact the genetics of any wild fish. Adam has made significant progress in improving hatchery operations over his five-year tenure and is very passionate about his craft. It is sure to be an enjoyable evening!
All chapter meetings are held at 7 pm on the second Tuesday of each month, at the REI store at Biltmore Park Town Square. Doors open at 6:30. More details about our October meeting can be found here.
