Chapter Meetings

Chapter Meetings are the second Tuesday of the month from September to May.

April Chapter Meeting will be on April 9th, Tuesday at White Labs Asheville.

We will be having Joshua Garris as our speaker for this month’s Chapter Meeting.

Josh is one of the owners of Curtis Wright Outfitters and is also the Head Fly Fishing Guide. He manages the scheduling of everything except Falconry and is one of our friendly and professional guides. Josh is an Asheville Native who cut his teeth fishing the very same water he guides on today.

Josh is also the Director of the Trout Unlimited River Course Program at Lake Logan.  He will update us on that project and provide some information about volunteer opportunities and needs that he sees for that project.

As always, if you have any questions just email us at info@landoskytu.org

There is in the very haunts of the brook trout a suggestion of where it gets its vigor and wariness: the cold, clear streams where the water is pure; brooks that wind in and out over rocky and pebbly beds, here shaded by trees and there dashing through the open–it makes us feel vigorous even to think of such streams.
